Getting Help With Glasses
Getting into Focus
Terry was a Lake County resident who had been homeless for six months. In April 2007 he came to Lifeline for help purchasing his medications because he couldn’t afford to buy them. He also applied for assistance in obtaining eyeglasses.
After working with Lifeline program managers, Terry was able to immediately obtain his prescription medication and was provided assistance in completing the applications to get his medicine long-term through the pharmaceutical companies. He was also approved for assistance with eyeglasses through a local Lion’s Club chapter.
“Lifeline’s programs helped me get what I needed and they made my life better,” said Terry.” My program manager was there for me.”
